OKAY. 

So I heard of Denver Pop Culture Con last week and found out that my friend and her boyfriend were going. (I don't think they're super into BNHA, but they do know a LOT about it,) so she was telling me that some VAs from the BNHA dub were gonna be there, and of course I was,, hype!!! That's so cool, they got to go see the VAs for their Friday panel!!
She also said that she could bring me with them if I could get a ticket, and mY MOM, THE LEGEND, SAID YES I COULD GET A TICKET?????

SO I got one for today!! I threw together a simple last-minute Aizawa cos because he's basically me but with stubble, didn't even need under-eye makeup oop-

And GOD WAS THIS LUCKY HOLY-- The BNHA panelists came back today for another panel!!! AND I GOT TO GO SEE IT OH MY GOD I'M STILL FREAKING OUT

It was Colleen Clinkenbeard (Yaoyorozu + director), Justin Briner (Midoriya), Clifford Chapin (Bakugou HOLYSHITHOLYSHIT), AND FUCKIN!!!!! Justin Cook WHO'S KIRISHIMA'S VA!!!!!! OH MY GOD???
I'VE LOOKED LITERALLY EVERYWHERE AND HAVEN'T MANAGED TO FIND A SINGLE BNHA PANEL WITH HIM YET, SO THE FACT THAT HE ACTUALLY CAME HERE,,, I???? I'M SHOOK?????



CON HIGHLIGHTS:

• There were a LOT of Midoriyas-
• We caught the last fifteen minutes of a panel with Zachary Levi!! I knew the panel was more geared towards Shazam which I know nothing about, but I didn't know he also voice acted for Flynn Rider!!! That's so cool!!! He's such an amazing and down-to-earth guy, so sweet and positive and funny!!!
• We were swimming in a sea of Midoriyas-
• Saw a group of Voltron cosplayers in the food court- Lance, Hunk, Pidge, and Keith! They all looked so amazing!!
• There were a few other Lance&Keith duos as well!!
• S o   M a n y   M i d o r i y a s ,,,, I cannot stress this enougH
• Saw quite a few Togas and Todorokis as well!! Not many Bakugous which I was kinda surprised about, but the few that I did see were incredible!!
• MY FRIEND SAID THERE WERE EVEN MORE MIDORIYAS ON THE FIRST DAY HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE
• We went to a Matthew Lewis panel!! (Most may know him as Neville Longbottom from Harry Potter-) I can't believe we were in the same room as a Harry  Potter cast member WHOA!!!!
• I only saw One Kirishima cosplay and they were. ADORABLE. I wanted to say hi but they were walking fast and we were walking fast in the opposite direction so uh yeah- but they were so cute!!! They looked so happy!!!

• and THEN. THE BESTEST OF THE BEST OF THE PANELS. IMO.

BNHA PANEL HIGHLIGHTS:

• While standing in line, I was not only surrounded by Midoriyas, but ALSO TODOROKIS!!! Every direction I turned I saw one!! I think I must've died for a while there bc I was seriously in heaven--
• I GOT TO SIT NEXT TO A TODOROKI I----
• Kirishima's and Bakugou's VAs sat next to each other, not really important but I was living for it :')
• Someone asked what their characters' worst fears would be: 
• Clifford (BK) said anti-perspiration LMAO
• Justin Cook (KR) said Kiri's would be being alone ))): and the whole room 'aww'd at that one,, bby I hope he's never alone ever let's shower him in hugs and love!!!!   
• Colleen (Momo) said failure
• Justin Briner (MD) said losing his role models/loved ones :'>
• (after hearing all these deep answers Clifford said he should've gone last, probably to lighten the mood lmao-)
• Justin Cook's favorite relationship in the show is Kirishima's and Bakugou's friendship aww    
• They were asked who their characters' best friends are:
• Justin Briner said "Kacchan" in a small, quick voice, then switched to Uraraka-
• Colleen said Yaoyorozu and Iida should be closer friends
• Justin Cook said, "Kirishima would say Bakugou" awW
• and then Clifford said, "Bakugou would say Bakugou" LMAO
• Justin Cook said he thinks if Kirishima were to be a villain, he'd still be obsessed with Crimson Riot, and his alias would be Red Wrath >:0

Also went to the artists section and there were SO MANY TALENTED ARTISTS!!! SO MUCH VOLTRON AND BNHA AND SHE-RA AND ALL THAT AS WELL!!! AND I got these ADORABLE charms too!!!
I was going to limit myself to two and just get Shiro and Lance, but then the artist said that if I got three the third would be half off, so of COURSE I had to have Kirishima as well-- so I got him too!! Now I can have my three most favorite babies in the world hanging off me wherever I go!! :'''D

(problem is I'm currently too afraid to attach them to a backpack or keychain because I REALLY don't want to lose them hhhnnnnn)



SO conclusion:

 Getting to be in such close proximity with so many big names was SO COOL!! And seeing so many cosplays was just as amazing!!! I've never seen them in person before, it was awesome to see all the props and all the work that goes into cosplay up close!!!! I've never been to a con and I've never attempted cosplay before, so this was... seriously THE BEST thing that's happened this year, hands down!!! Maybe even the best thing,,, literally ever??? Gotta be right up there with seeing Hamilton and DEH for sure!!! Man, I still can't believe all that happened!!! :''''D

Hello hello! To anyone who cared, I'm sorry for the absence, but I'm not quite dead yet!

I didn't exactly ditch dA on purpose, I just kind of got used to Tumblr and started using Insta again, soooooooo dA kinda got put on the back burner. (There've also been a few health complications in the family, but everyone's alright rn!!)

I've still been posting to those sites though, so... time to catch up here... apologies in advance for the art spam today and tomorrow... :')



SO, shit that's happened:

1. My sister took us to Chicago to see Hamilton!!?? Which was INCREDIBLE! The man who played Hamilton (Miguel Cervantes) actually came outside after the show and signed stuff for us!! Also he literally had to look up to Eliza jsdjjsfj he couldn't have been an inch taller than me haha- everyone was amazing though!! And the LAMS oh GOD!!

2. SHE ALSO?? Took us to see Dear Evan Hansen when they came here on tour too!? WOW, that was a tear-jerker! I'd listened to the soundtrack so I knew it was good, but all that dialogue and stuff in between made it AMAZING! I figured there was more to it than just the songs because of those mood jumps, but actually getting to see it really made it make more sense!!

3. I FINALLY caught up with Attack on Titan season three, and HOLY WOW!! LOVED IT!!

4. I'm not super into DBH anymore, but a piece I did for the RK1K TRUST zine should be posted sometime next year! Also not super drawing Hamilton anymore, but I still absolutely LOVE listening to Ham and I'll probably still draw it sometimes! I watched She-Ra even though I thought I wouldn't like it (and it's alright- I like it more for the characters!), and The Dragon Prince is absolutely amazing!!



And. Fuckigngf. Voltron. Is ending in two weeks. At first I was suuuuper sad and crying about it, but now I kinda don't know how to feel. I'm gonna miss it, but also.. it's super tiring. I was looking back on old posts in the tag with people saying they used it to help with stress, but now it's almost hard to believe we're still watching the same show.... I still do love it and Lance and Shiro will always be super special to me though <3



THEN THERE'S BNHA!!!
I was on a Funimation free trial to catch up on SNK, and I had nothing better to do for the last week of the trial, so I started watching it, and IT'S SO COOL!?!? I've seen it everywhere and half the Voltron artists I follow are also into it, I don't know why I haven't watched it before now- but it is SERIOUSLY awesome!! The soundtrack!? Killer! The animation!? Stunning! The characters!? I LOVE THEM!! Especially Kirishima??? he's freaking adorable!!?? I always get that super idiotic giant-ass grin _{(that huge dumb one that you literally can't stop now matter how hard you try thinking of something sad, you know?)} whenever I see or talk about him shhfhfhs--!!! _{his quirk may be hardening, but he's GREAT at making peoples' hearts soft afdskfk}
Also there's KiriBaku, KiriKami, BakuKiriKami, KiriDeku, TodoDeku, TodoBakuDeku, IidaDeku, IidaOcha, MomoJirou, KamiJirou, KamiSero, EraserMic, EraserMight, EraserJoke, moRE, god i'm such a multishipper-
And this might be an odd thing to notice, but I really like how they animate the characters running-!?

OKAY. my multishipping ass is ready for whatever the fuck these last two seasons have to throw at us,, so please know that anything I'm about to say is not biased, I've taken my shipping goggles and my NOtp goggles off for once in life lmfao

I feel "safer" talking about this on dA than I would on Tumblr (which is why I'm nOT posting this to tumblr ahahahaaaa),, but I've never actually shared my personal opinions/thoughts/theories, so I'm irrationally scared haAAAA okay fuck let's go



Also... this entire thing is just... assuming there will be an endgame romance/endgame romances, as the creators have heavily implied.
BUT. Whatever happens, whatever ships may be set in stone or broken this season or the next, we still have fanon, and canon doesn't have to affect that. (Effect? Affect? Affect. Affect? Fuck.)



That being said... I don't think Sheith is going to be canon. No shade, no hate whatsoever to Sheith or those who ship them. In fanon, their relationship- as well as every other characters' relationships with each other- is open to interpretation and manipulation. In canon, however, the show has established their relationship as brotherly on multiple occasions.
("Shiro, you're like a brother to me... but I have to do this." -s2ep8 and "Shiro, please... you're my brother. I love you." -s7ep6)

Currently, the two ships that seem like they could actually possibly stand a chance (that haven't been confirmed yet, lookin at you Adashi, ;* 💖 ) are Klance and Allurance. I do believe Allurance has a chance, though I also genuinely believe that Klance has a chance because of what the creators have said and done. If they are giving Lance an endgame romantic interest that will be reciprocated as they've implied, they've said that Lance will be with "someone he needs, [not necessarily] someone he wants". (Yet). Apparently he will "end up in a completely different place from when he started out".

While Allurance is certainly not out of the realm of possibility by any means, I don't completely feel as if they're going to be canon. Allura seems to have little to no romantic interest in Lance, though that is debatable, given their interactions in s6.
...But I don't think the creators would stick Allura with Lance right after the whole Lotor thing. She's still getting over that, and she probably doesn't want to use Lance as a rebound just as much as Lance himself wouldn't want to be used as one. She's not that kind of person, and neither is Lance. She needs time, and Lance- as shown in s6- (Allurance hug💙💖💙💖) is willing to put his feelings aside in order to be a good friend to her.

Sure, there are other small possibilities like Romelle, but the creators have said that the endgame romance would be one that they've been building up over the seasons. It's a slowburn. Romelle obviously hasn't been here long enough to qualify as slowburn- she hasn't even really interacted with Lance yet. (On-screen, anyway).
((though I do ship Romance, ahaaa- and also Romallura and Romallurance and Romidge and Pallurelle and Plancelle snfndnfnfndnffff--- and also Klance and Allurance, while we're on the subject of ships I've been talking about!!))



There's definitely more I'm missing, probably more that I wanted to talk about- but I can't remember, and time is running short. 7 is almost here, and there's a million things I haven't done (just you wait, just you waaait-) that I want to do before it comes out and consumes my weekend. (I have an hour, holy FUCK!!!!!)
